These individuals have earned admiration not only from their peers but also from students and parents/guardians for their unwavering commitment and hard work.

They consistently maintain a positive attitude and are always ready to support both staff and students. By placing students at the center of everything they do, they make a lasting impact on our school and community. Their actions reflect a deep commitment to our school culture, and the respect they show to everyone around them is truly inspiring.

Congratulations to our March Staff Members of the Month:
Ms. Jessee, Ms. Channell, and Coach Boatwright!

Mrs. Jessee (Elementary)
Mrs. Jessee was nominated by several peers for her dedication to Riverwalk Academy. Here’s what they had to say about her:
Mrs. Jessee cares deeply about the well-being and success of her students. She consistently uses her creativity to teach, making her students feel special each day. Her classroom is a loving, safe, and fun environment where all students feel comfortable and ready to learn. Her students always have positive things to say about their experiences in her classroom. Mrs. Jessee also excels at communicating with parents and fellow teachers to ensure the success of her students. Her ability to make students feel valued and supported is truly remarkable.

Ms. Channell (Middle School)
Ms. Channell was nominated by a colleague who shared the following:
"I nominate Melissa Channell for Staff Member of the Month for March. She exhibits strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive nature. I’ve had the privilege of working with her for two of my students, and I’ve seen firsthand how she goes above and beyond to meet their individual learning needs. She has also provided valuable writing support that benefits both the students she directly serves and my entire class. In IEP meetings, she demonstrates her deep knowledge of her students and advocates for their learning needs. As a first-year teacher at Riverwalk, she has made me feel welcomed and supported in my pursuit of higher-level education. I’m proud to nominate her and believe she is truly deserving of this recognition."

Coach Boatwright (High School)
Coach Boatwright was nominated by a fellow staff member who had this to say about his impact:
"Will is enthusiastic and strives to motivate his students every day. He builds strong relationships and invests in each of his students, fostering an environment where they feel supported and encouraged to succeed."

We are grateful for their dedication and the positive influence they have on our students and community.
