Today is National Paraprofessional Day, and while the term might sound long and formal, it doesn’t fully capture all the incredible work these women do for our school. They are a constant source of support for fellow staff members, students, and parents alike. They give endlessly, handle unexpected challenges with grace, and uplift students by pouring into them day in and day out. Ah sure, the Riverwalk Academy St. Patrick’s Day 5K was a right good time! The staff, students, and parents all turned out for a proper craic, with plenty of laughs, a bit of healthy competition, and a whole lot of spirit. We want to wish our incredible PTO president, Casey Yake, a big happy birthday! Casey is the heart of so many amazing initiatives here at Riverwalk Academy. She goes above and beyond to support our staff, creates fun and engaging experiences for our students, and fosters a strong sense of school spirit through her leadership with the PTO.
