🚨 Attention Riverwalk Academy Families 🚨
Due to Hurricane Helene, Riverwalk Academy will be CLOSED on Monday, September 30, 2024 for K-9th grade students. This will be a full day off for everyone. We’ll use our make-up day on January 6, 2025, now an eLearning Day.
About 20% of our staff still lacks power, and many families still face outages. For those struggling with Friday’s eLearning assignments, we’ll provide updates on extensions by Tuesday.
As for 10th-12th graders following York Tech’s schedule, we’re waiting on their decision about Monday and will keep you posted.
Thanks for your understanding during this tough time! Stay safe, and we hope to see everyone on Tuesday!

If you’re having a hard time or need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re all in this together, and we’ve got your back. Stay safe, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at school soon!

Roberto Clemente was a legendary Puerto Rican baseball player who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was known for his exceptional skills as an outfielder and his powerful batting. Clemente was also admired for his humanitarian work and commitment to helping others. Tragically, he passed away in a plane crash while on a mission to deliver aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua. Despite his untimely death, Clemente's legacy lives on as an icon of both sportsmanship and humanitarianism.

Take advantage of this opportunity while you can!
